Troon on Tour
Everybody likes to play where the pros play, right? Here are just some of the professional tournaments currently scheduled to be played at Troon courses around the world. The 18th Solheim Cup pitting the U.S. versus Europe heads to the southeast coast of Spain this year, where it will be played at Europe’s Best Golf Resort and Spain’s Best Golf Course, as honored in the 2022 World Golf Awards.

Since 2017, the season-ending event on the PGA Tour Champions has been played at one of the oldest and most esteemed private clubs in Arizona. The exclusive field includes the top 36 players who compete for an individual title and the season-long Charles Schwab Cup.

The LPGA’s season-ending tournament returns to the Gold Course at Tiburón, with a field featuring the top 60 points earners and ties competing for a $2 million winner’s check, the largest single prize in the history of women’s golf. Lydia Ko is defending champion.

The Asian Tour made its first-ever stop in Egypt last year when it came to this Robert Trent Jones Jr.-designed course that opened in 2020. American Andy Ogletree captured the title in 2022 for his first professional win.

2-person teams featuring one LPGA and one PGA pro will compete over 54 holes on the Greg Norman-designed Gold Course at Tiburón using a different format of play every day. The event has been played at Tiburón since 2001.

Tee it up at the home of THE PLAYERS Championship and try your luck hitting the island green on the infamous par-3 17th hole, a highlight of a layout designed by Pete Dye. If your team makes the cut, you’ll get two tries there! Competition also includes a round at the adjacent Dye’s Valley c ourse.

WHISTLING STRAITS Wisconsin
Remember the electric atmosphere at the 2021 Ryder Cup? It was played here on the Straits Course, as were three PGA Championships. It’s a stern test with countless bunkers on a property bordered to the east by Lake Michigan. Rounds will also be played at the Irish and Blackwolf Run (River) courses.
AUGUST 23 – 27
PINEHURST
North Carolina
Experience the rich golf history here among the tall pines and test your skills on Pinehurst No. 2, venue for the 2024 U.S. Open. Golf will also be played on Pinehurst’s No. 4 and No. 6 courses, with hospitality events at the very popular Thistle Dhu putting course and The Cradle short course.

Start planning ahead now to play at one of the most famous golf courses in the world. Venue for the 2023 U.S. Women’s Open, the course has already hosted six men’s U.S. Opens, most recently in 2019.
