Charles Schwab Cup Championship
Phoenix Country Club is set to host the PGA TOUR Champions’ season-ending event, the Charles Schwab Cup Championship Thursday – Sunday, November 9-12. The third and final event of the Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs, the Championship will feature the top 36 golfers in the standings and determine the annual Charles Schwab Cup Champion.
Steve Stricker currently leads in the 2023 Charles Schwab Cup standings, with 2022 Charles Schwab Cup winner Steven Alker in second, and Bernhard Langer, Stephen Ames, and Ernie Els rounding out the top five. 2022 Charles Schwab Cup Championship tournament winner Padraig Harrington will be back to defend his title. Other notable golfers to secure spots in the season-ending event include Jerry Kelly, Miguel Angel Jiménez, Retief Goosen, and Team Troon member Colin Montgomerie.

2023 marks the seventh year the Charles Schwab Cup Championship has been played at Phoenix Country Club. The PGA TOUR Champions recently announced the historic downtown Phoenix venue will continue to host the Schwab Cup Championship through 2032. Located amid the Phoenix cityscape, Phoenix Country Club is an urban oasis that has served the surrounding community since 1899, playing host to the Phoenix Open annually from 1932-1954 and 1972-1986, and every other year between 1956 and 1970.
The tournament will air Thursday through Sunday on Golf Channel from 4 to 6:30 p.m. EST. Gates open each day at 9:30 a.m. with free shuttle service available from Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
